Sheep is out on a trip, so let's try to impress her and show her how her hard work with us has helped us really manage this xchange great! C: Enjoy your vacation, sheep! Another friendly update. We're about half way through the xchange now, leaving 2 weeks until the Xchange deadline. Everyone is turning in wonderful pieces of art and I truly enjoy seeing all of them, guys. I'm glad you are participating! I try to fav them all and comment on most!! There's only one thing I can ask. It's ok if you dont post anything but the link in your note to me/your chosen, but can you please put the name of the Character you drew and the name of the person you're drawing for in your description so we can document it! And so everyone viewing the deviation knows the credit, of course
Other than that, everything is absolutely perfect. If you dont think you'll make xchange deadline, dont be afraid to send me a note and say "hey! i wont be able to make it" and I'll put LATE next to your name in this journal to remind myself from badgering you too terribly about it, ahaha!
That's about it though. Keep up the great work, everyone. I'll post Mar-Apr adoptions either TONIGHT, tomorrow, or thursday! so those of you who didn't get to adopt and are finished with your xchange now (or are on your way to finishing/time is more manageable) you can adopt tonight or whatever C:

Just a regular, friendly update. The list is going well, and Shinerai is pleased that people are creating such lovely pieces for the xchange. Nothing extremely important about this update, other than to remind you guys that the XChange is active. The list is staying up to date, so don't forget to note us when you finish.
We are pleased to announce that all of the Xchangers from Nov-Feb have been adopted. If you didn't get to adopt someone and you really wanted to, just wait until the end of the week and Mar-Apr xchangers will go up for adoption. After that, the adoptions will be all up to date and will stay that way.
Nothing much more to say, so I'll see you next update

The list is now posted (and check it out, someone already finished, aha)! There is also a NEW scroll box at the bottom of the journal containing all the journal edits. We tend to delete old edits for the sake of the length of the journal, but now we're going to start putting them down there. If you missed a journal update and you think we might have said something important, you can check that box out. The deadline will also stay at the top so you dont have to look for it.
ALSO We have decided that next roll call, instead of using direct links for your character references, we'll use THUMBS. If you don't have your image on DeviantART, then by all means just link it, that's definitely alright. But there's someone who sent their note with thumbs and it's pretty convenient for us. We have decided this to be a good idea. We'll remind you guys when next roll call comes up. It's just so exciting I had to write about it right now, ah.
Anyway, enjoy the list you guys. There are 148 participants.

Notes were officially sent out earlier today around 4pm (save for a few)! Sorry I just now got around to writing this journal. Make sure you all have your notes, and if you have any questions regarding the Xchange, your note, or about the characters you're supposed to draw, let me know! Also, if you didn't receive your note, TELL ME. So I can send it to you as soon as I can! I have to go to bed now, so I'll have to post the list tomorrow. Dont worry though, I'll make sure to spam your journals with it >8D.

ROLL CALL is officially closed! I waited about a week. There are 144 participants and everyone's name has been written down. Tomorrow night, the pairing will occur and note-sending will commence. I forsee you receiving your notes sunday night or monday morning. Thanks for entering everyone C:! Notes WILL be sent out on time this month! I'm really excited for this.

Tikoru here. Due to the disaster of last month, Shinerai found it critical to obtain another apprentice. Just having been recruited, I will be primarily controlling the xchange now. Shin will still be doing much, but considerably less. It is difficult to run something like this with too much stress and so little time available to dedicate, so that's why I'm here! Nice to meet all of you, I hope I can get to know you (=

With that said, I will mention to PLEASE under the "what will you draw" section, dont be specific. The only words you should say are animal, gryphon, dragon, humanoid, or anthro. Or something like "no anthro" or "dragons only". So please none of that "only cats and will not draw females" crap. Thank you!
